Our Programs:

Great Athletes, Great Kids

"Through AVSC I learned camaraderie, sportsmanship, how to travel, how to win and most importantly, how to lose with grace and go back the next week to practice and try again. Yet perhaps the greatest lesson I learned was an appreciation for the outdoors and mountains and how they can enrich one's soul if you get outside."

- Pete McBride, Award-Winning National Geographic Photographer

Please note:The Nordic Bonfire Dinner originally scheduled for Saturday, January 7th has been rescheduled to Saturday, February 18!

As the valley's oldest non profit youth organization, AVSC has helped generations of local children experience the mountains in winter. AVSC reaches almost 2,100 youth, of which over 350 are from Latino households. Each year the Club awards more than $875,000 in program subsidies and scholarships.

Every child in the Roaring Fork Valley should have the opportunity to ski or snowboard.

Every athlete should have the chance to realize his or her full potential.

Our Core Values:

Commitment • Teamwork • Integrity
