Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I choose an AVSC Program?

AVSC offers programs for all ability levels and interests. There are several factors to consider in selecting the most appropriate program for your child:

  • Age

  • Ability

  • Mountain

  • Number of Days

  • Introductory, Developmental or Competitive?

The tables on the program page will get you started. Keep in mind, our development and Team AVSC programs focus on much more than competition. If you need help with your selection, please contact Trish Shepard at (970) 205-5101 or tshepard@teamavsc.com.

2. How do I register my child?

The registration form and the liability release form can be found on the downloadable forms page on this web site or by calling the administrative offices of AVSC at (970) 205-5100. No children can be enrolled without a signed liability release form.

3. How do I find the Clubhouse?

The AVSC Clubhouse and administrative offices are located at 300 AVSC Drive behind the Aspen High School. Take Maroon Creek Road from the Aspen roundabout for 1/4 mile. Take a left on Moore Drive after the High School bus stop and another left at the first stop sign. Bear left at the fork and you will see the Clubhouse on the left, a unique building with a giant ski pole built into the side of it.

4. Do I register first or get my ski pass first?

You must register first in order to receive your ski pass voucher. Once AVSC has your completed registration, liability release and payment, we will issue you a voucher that can be redeemed at the Aspen Skiing Company's Buttermilk ticket office for your child's ski pass. Those who are registering online can use their email registration confirmation as the voucher for their childs' ski passes. Simply print out the email confirmation and bring it to any open Aspen Skiing Company ticket office.
