AVSC STAFF:Executive Director Mark Cole Mark started at AVSC in October of 2001 after 17 years with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). His previous work at NOLS included 6 years as staffing manager, 5 years as finance director and 3 years as alumni and development director. Mark has a Masters degree in Mathematics and taught at the University of Vermont for 2 years. Mark has been with the Club for 3 years. Marketing and Development Manager Alan Cole Alan was hired by AVSC in 2002 after working for Aspen Interactive Media as an account manager and Aspen Skiing Company in International Sales and Marketing. Alan lives in Carbondale and has been a valley resident for 7 years. He graduated with a B.A. in American History from Vassar College, where he skied competitively in the NCSA Eastern Division. Alan has been with AVSC for 2 1/2 years. Administrative Manager Kim Vieira This will be Kims second year at AVSC. Kim worked for 10 years in administration for the Aspen School District and for 5 years at the James E. Moore Pool. She is a member of the Aspen Elks Lodge #224. Kim has an associates degree from the College of Staten Island. Kim is a 20-year Aspen resident and mother of Raymond, and AVSC snowboarder. |
